1. Respecting Copyright

We respect the copyright and intellectual property claims of others and expect the users of this website to do the same. By using this website you agree to abide by these copyright guidelines. If you do not agree with these guidelines please do not use this website.

You agree not to do the following:

1. submit content that breaches copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or  intellectual property rights of others
2. submit user comments that contain links to sites that breach copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or intellectual property rights of others
3. submit content that breaches fair use provisions
4. use the functionality of this website to breach copyright or another's intellectual property rights
5. do not copy the submitted photos or text of other users

If you are unsure whether or not your content will breach copyright or intellectual property rights of others do not upload it.

2. User Submitted Content

All user submitted content is owned by the user that uploaded it. By using this website and for us to display your content, you agree to grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any of your intellectual property that you post on this website. This intellectual property license ends when you delete your intellectual property content or your account (except to the extent your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it).

When you delete your user submitted content it may persist for some time in computer memory similar to the way your recycle bin works on your computer. You understand and agree that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).

3. User Submitted Feedback

If you submit feedback or suggestions using our contact us form or in any other way you understand that we may use your feedback or suggestions without any obligation to compensate you for them. It is possible that you may submit a suggestion that is very similar to one we have already thought of and may be in the process implementing. We have no obligation to compensate you or reward for any suggestions or ideas that we may be thinking of implementing or have already implemented. Remember, you have no obligation to submit feedback, suggestions or ideas. If you feel that you should be compensated for such feedback, suggestions or ideas please do not submit them.

4. Reporting Copyright Infringement

We respect the intellectual property of others and we ask our users to do the same. We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who may be repeat infringers. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide us with the following information:

5. Avoiding Copyright Infringement

If you are concerned about avoiding copyright infringement you could use the following principles. This is only a guide and is not to be considered as a definitive legal guide.

1. A photo that contains the original artwork of others, such as a picture of a picture or television or movie screen may still be a breach of copyright even though in itself is a new original picture. A large public artwork that just happens to be in the background of your photo will not usually be considered a breach of copyright in most jurisdictions. If you are unsure you could blur out the offending artwork using Photoshop or a similar product.
2. A photo that contains text from a book or any other publication will most likely be a breach of copyright, so please do not post such material. Alternatively, you could use Photoshop or a similar product to remove or blur out the offending material.
3. Do not copy and paste text from other websites documents or books when submitting user comments.
4. Do not copy the content of other users.
5. Do not e-mail photos on this website outside of the pics-o e-mail system. We use links to photos in our e-mails and do not actually made copy of the photos on this site. Our e-mail system puts an image tag in the body of a HTML e-mail, it does not encode the image into the e-mail so it can be displayed inline.
6. If you are unsure whether or not your photo breaches copyright do not upload the photo.
